Cult Classic
Cult Classic is a rock, punk, post hardcore band from parts of central New Jersey and New York. Pete, Rob and Joe formed Cult Classic after playing together in previous separate bands which released a few EPs, a full length and toured nationally. After playing a debut show at Gramercy Theater in NYC, Cult Classic went into the studio to record their debut EP entitled Resistance in the spring of 2017. This marks a milestone for all members as they call upon all their influences to record an explosive 5 song debut with both Pete and Rob sharing vocal duties.
New York trio Cult Classic have unveiled their new EP, The Future of Fate, that delivers a pacy, hook-laden and engaging throwback sound that the band have splashed with contemporary influence, for a relatable and accessible finish. Combining influences ranging the width and breadth of alternative rock, the New York / New Jersey trio deliver driving rock tones, set against the backdrop of 90’s influenced melodic punk.
Signing to Manic Kat Records for the release of debut EP, Resistance, in 2017, Cult Classic impressed at the first time of asking. The rookie record was a politically charged collection, with a moreish interplay of melody and grit as the band wore their heart on their collective sleeve. Now back with their first new material in seven years, The Future of Fate will be available via streaming platforms from the 19th April. The EP is a contemplative look at the passage of time, and embracing the highs and lows of life, and the people along the way.
