Amber Pacific
Amber Pacific, established in 2004 debuted the release of their EP titled, Fading Days via Hopeless Records, an independent label based in Van Nuys, CA joining a roster of bands that included Avenged Sevenfold and Thrice among others. Armed with an EP packed with potential, the band hit the road landing the first of what came to be four consecutive appearances on the Vans Warped Tour through 2007. The band returned to the studio in the Winter of 2004 to begin work on The Possibility and The Promise, their first full length album that would be released on May 24, 2005 going on to sell over 81,000 copies featuring song placements in EA Sports Burnout 3 and Twentieth Century Fox major motion picture, Flicka.
As momentum gained, the band continued to tour year around building a following and landing their first appearance on the Billboard Top 200 at number 64 with the release of their follow up album, Truth In Sincerity on May 22, 2007 which included their first single, Fall Back Into My Life, featured in the Warner Brothers major motion picture, TMNT.
A brief lineup change brought about a new label as well as a new full length record titled Virtues, released via Victory Records on April 13, 2010. Their first single, Three Words, scored yet another placement through Dimension Films major motion picture, Piranha 3DD and found the band performing live on Fearless Music HD in New York City.
It wasn’t long before original vocalist Matt Young returned to the band prior to their 2014 release titled The Turn, released via Digitally Sound Records. The crowd funded release was welcomed with rave reviews as the band returned to their original form as famed Blogger Zack Zarrillo of Property of Zack wrote, “Many of the tracks are bold and brimming with a youthful radiance that will take listeners by surprise.” Add guest appearances by Alex Gaskarth, lead vocalist of All Time Low and the return of Mike Herrera of MxPx on bass and vocals, the record merely accelerated the long anticipated return of the sound that started it all as the band celebrated its 10th anniversary.
To date, the band has accumulated over 110,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, over 5,000,000 streams spanning over 20 years with upwards of 2,000+ shows including multiple headlining runs with music reaching over 100+ countries. Beyond the music, Amber Pacific has partnered with The Make A Wish Foundation to fulfill the request of a longtime friend and fan and participated in The Take Action Tour to promote teen suicide awareness and prevention, recognizing the importance and the platform music has given the band. AP is poised for a breakout year with an impressive 51,000+ followers on their Facebook page on the heels of the much anticipated release of their 5th full length studio album via Manic Kat Records in 2025.
